Of that spectacular 5,300-square-foot showroom, roughly 1,700 square feet is devoted to top-shelf Kohler products, for which Elegant Designs is designated as a “premier showroom,” a distinction exclusive to them along the Delmarva Peninsula. “We want people to come here confident that they can get what they want,” explained Jeff Peterson, Elegant Designs’ vice president of finance and operations manager. “We’re very gratified by how well homeowners in the area have responded to our concept in the year since we cut the ribbon for the showroom. But, we also want all trade professionals to know that we offer many advantages here that would definitely facilitate the execution of their projects. That’s especially reassuring in a housing market that has caused many to wonder whether the timing is right to buy, sell or upgrade.
